Dance Models - Brisbane

Dancewear Nation is seeking photogenic dancers to participate in a photoshoot to create content for our social media pages and online store (but not limited to).

Must be technically advanced in one or two dance genres, and have the ability to shine and be dynamic on camera. Following direction easily is a must.

Location will be in the Raby Bay and Cleveland area south of Brisbane. Dancers will need to arrange their own transport to and from location and dancers under 18 years must be supervised by one adult.

The photoshoot will take approximately 2 hours, with a date in January to be advised.

Remuneration will be discussed with each successful dancer/parent/guardian. Parent or guardian permission & disclaimer must be approved & signed prior to the job commencing.

Casual Retail Sales Assistant

Dancewear Nation is on the hunt for a special someone in the capacity of Casual Retail Sales Assistant. 

Knowledge in dance is a requirement, and you need to be computer literate. It is essential that you can deliver excellent customer service & engage quickly with our valued customers, going above and beyond. 

Must be available on Saturdays & Sundays with the view to also cover sick leave and annual leave.

The successful candidate will commence in mid-late April, and on-job training will be provided.

Casual employees will be rostered a minimum of 3 hours per week and up to 20 hours based on demand.

The casual role is suitable for secondary age students 15 years and above, tertiary age students with the flexibility to work afternoons during the school term, or an adult/parent looking for some extra work. Casual employees must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays.

Customer Service & Dance or Performing Arts experience is essential. Applicants must be very neatly presented, professional, extremely customer service orientated and confident to perform the following duties:

  1. Meet and greet customers, assisting them with their queries and product selection in an efficient manner;
  2. Cash handling and computer literate in order to work our Point Of Sale program with accuracy;
  3. Coordinate footwear fittings in order or priority and arrival;
  4. Coordinate garment fittings;
  5. Return stock to racks or shelving in a neat, organised and presentable manner;
  6. Monitoring stock & customer movement, including loss prevention measures;
  7. Minor cleaning duties as required;
  8. Opening & closing tasks.

Dancewear Nation remunerates its staff based on the General Retail Industry Award 2010 (MA000004). Rates are determined by age at the time of engagement and will be discussed during the interview process.
