Store Collect

Store Collect is available if you live close to Williamstown, Victoria. All you have to do is select this option at check out. Please note: we will call you when your purchase is ready to collect (usually 3-5 business days).

Shipping Carrier

All orders are delivered by Australia Post or Sendle courier networks for a flat rate of $10.00.

Dream Duffel bags are considered bulky goods and shipping is invoiced separately after your purchase, or price on application prior. Freight charges will vary depending on your location in Australia.

Please ensure you selected the correct shipping method at checkout. If the incorrect shipping method has been selected, we will invoice you separately for the difference. Goods will not be dispatched until the correct shipping charges have been paid.

Is there tracking on my parcel?

Yes, always! Both Australia Post and Sendle send tracking updates via email to both Dancewear Nation and our Customers.

When the parcel is picked up from Dancewear Nation, we will notify the Customer by email. 

Will I need to sign for my parcel?

500g and under - no, automatic 'authority to leave' applies (your parcel will be delivered to your mail box or left at your front door if you are not home

500kg or more - yes, signature will be required (if you are unsure if you will be at your delivery address, please ensure you give us specific delivery instructions by typing in the comments at checkout 'authority to leave' and the location (ie, front door)

What happens if the driver cannot or does not deliver my parcel?

There are a number of reasons why a driver may not be able to complete a delivery. Below is an example (but not limited to):

1. No access or unsafe access to mail box or front door (ie, dog or locked gate)

2. No one is available to sign for a signature required parcel (when signature is required)

In this case the driver will leave a card to organise a redelivery or they’ll take it to a nearby collection point (if available in your area) for the Customer to collect at their convenience.

Australia Post or Sendle may also email the you with information for how to organise redelivery or advise if your parcel has been redirected to a collection point. Any costs involved in the redelivery will be at the customers expense.

Delivery Times

Our goods are sent by road freight - so this might give you a good idea of how long an item will take to arrive. 

A delivery estimate, depending on your location in Australia, may take approximately 1-10 business days to reach you.

Remember, an estimate is an estimate. Typically major metropolitan cities and towns should expect an approximate delivery time of 1-5 days after dispatch. Rural, remote, Western Australia, Northern Territory and Northern Queensland locations for example can take up to 10 days after dispatch.

I need my order urgently. What can I do?

Please contact us first. In most cases, we may be able to arrange Express Post with the Australia Post network.

Can you send to my PO Box?

Sorry, no. Our drivers only deliver to a physical home or business address.

International Shipping

Unfortunately we do not offer international/overseas shipping at this time.

Free Shipping

Dancewear Nation provides free Standard shipping for all orders over $100 with exception of Dream Duffels as they fall under bulky goods.

Dispatch

Once you have placed your order, dispatch may take place within 3-5 business days. Dispatch times are dependant on stock levels at the time of purchase. 

Please note:

  • Delivery times may vary due to the Australia Post or Sendle delivery network
  • Dispatch and delivery timings are dependant on your location and stock levels
  • If your order was placed after close of business (5.30pm), or on a Weekend or Public Holiday, your order will be processed the following business day
  • Once your parcel has been dispatched and handed over to our driver, delivery of your parcel is now in the hands of Australia Post or Sendle. Dancewear Nation will not accept responsibility for any unforeseen mishandling, losses and damages to parcels, or delays in delivery.

Incorrect Address

We cannot be held responsible for an incorrect address being entered on your order.

Address Confirmation is given on the review & buy page in the checkout section of the site. If this is not noticed until after your order is finalised, please contact us immediately.

If your parcel is redirected back to us for whatever reason, courier costs will need to be paid again by the Customer.

Return Postage

The customer will assume all responsibility for return postage fees in the event of returns & exchanges. This includes additional postage costs for the exchange item prior to dispatch from our store. Any goods returned are the customers responsibility until they reach our store.

Dancewear Nation will not be held liable for any goods lost in transit, therefore we recommend you add tracking to the postage of the returned goods. Please ensure you package any return item appropriately to prevent any damage to the items in transit. Please refer to our Returns & Exchange Policy.
