Here at Dancewear Nation we pride ourselves on customer service, however from one dancer to another we understand the difficulties that can often occur when shopping online. Therefore we have customised the Returns Policy to ensure your shopping experience is a smooth, effortless and enjoyable process.
Upon receiving your purchase you will find enclosed:
- Item/s as purchased
- Purchase receipt/invoice
- Returns Authorisation Form & information
Exchange & Credit Notes
We offer a 14 day exchange period from the date you receive your purchases for any of the following:
- The size you ordered doesn’t fit
- The item received is faulty or damaged
- You received the incorrect colour or size
Customers are able to exchange for the same product, like for like, in the correct or desired size or colour. Unfortunately we are unable to exchange for another product style.
We do not accept exchanges or refunds for change of mind so please choose your item/s carefully.
A store credit (valid for six months from the date of issue) will only be offered if we are unable to provide you with the desired size or colour at the time of the exchange.
When a desired exchange item is out of stock, there may be an addition 3-5 day shipping and handling time until such time as we receive the stock from our suppliers. We will notify the customer if there are any unforeseen delays.
In the case that you need to return an item/s you will need to complete in full the Returns Authorisation Form (enclosed with your purchase), quoting all fields as indicated on the form. Returns will not be accepted or processed without the Returns Authorisation Form and a copy of your receipt or invoice, and unfortunately the goods will be sent back to the customer at the customers expense.
What is Exempt From Returns & Exchanges
In the interest of hygiene we strictly do not offer exchange on the following items unless they have a manufacturing defect, so please select carefully:
- Cosmetics including fragrances & skin products
- Custom made and altered products
- Gift Cards or Vouchers
- Hosiery & Tights
- Water Bottles
- Training Equipment
- Hair Accessories
- Sale or Marked Down Items
Please choose SALE and discounted items carefully. These sales are final and unless otherwise stated cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded.
When returning shoes, they must be returned unworn, unmarked, clean and in the original shoe packaging. We recommend trying on dance shoes with a clean stocking and on a clean surface to avoid markings of any kind. Dance footwear is not always comparable to street size shoes, so please check our size chart carefully prior to selecting your size.
Faulty Goods & Refunds
Before your order is shipped, our staff will personally inspect your item/s and carefully pick and pack your purchase to ensure it leaves and is delivered in its original condition.
In the event that your goods are not in a satisfactory condition please contact our customer service personal via firstname.lastname@example.org. Please have your invoice number ready.
Dancewear Nation will only authorise refunds in the case the item is faulty and deemed unrepairable by the manufacturer and is in accordance with the fair trade practices act.
General wear and tear of items are exempt from returns, exchanges or refunds.
Damage from general wear and tear includes but is not limited to: scuff marks & dirt on shoes, leather has worn away exposing the suede underside, scrapes & scratches on the soles of shoes, leather has been laundered incorrectly with unsuitable products, pilling or laddering of any type of garment, natural stretching of the product after several wears, shrinkage, fading or dye run from incorrect laundering, any markings from extended use of any kind of product, zips or seams that have split or broken due to ill-fitting (ie, bags have been over-packed or garment was too small but still worn or used).
Your return & exchange will always be approved provided the following:
- You have completed the Returns Authorisation Form enclosed
- Item/s is returned within the 14 days of receiving
- Item/s must be returned with all tags attached and in original condition and packaging
- Item/s have not been worn, soiled, washed, altered, or miss-handled in any shape of form
Upon your return being satisfactory in the accordance with our returns guidelines you will be issued with your selected exchange product.
